Anna Keenan is a ceramicist and educator based in both New Jersey and Chicago, IL. With a background in sculpture and fibers, her work consistently explores themes of nature, home, and tranquility, using a diverse range of materials to express these concepts. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Keenan focuses primarily on functional ceramics. She has taught both wheel-thrown and hand-built ceramics, and has contributed to community art spaces as a curator and studio assistant. Her practice reflects a deep commitment to both craftsmanship and education, bridging artistic expression with hands-on learning.
